*gasp* Galipoka's account! Suspended!

*dies*

Yes, Galipoka, one of my favourite YouTube Directors, has had his YouTube account suspended. I don't know when it happened, I'm taking it happened recently, because the other month I was watching some of his vids of awesome-ness. Lots of V-Loggers have been uploading video, documenting their distaste and anger on this topic, especially as Galipoka never uploaded anything that violated the rules. These /v/tards (lol I'm gonna use that for practically everything now) are all saying that he was suspended for being under-age. As far as I know, the boy was 11, but it didn't impair his brilliant sense of humour.

God, this sounds like a eulogy.

And now these same /v/tards are accusing YouTube of being discriminative. Well, I don't know where to stand there. Though it does sound silly, suspending someone's account, therefore debilitating (gr?) their ability to share videos on an extremely popular site just because of their age. What's the worst that could happen with an under-aged person? What exactly is under-aged for YouTube?

In fact, thinking about it now, more people just watch things on YouTube without an account, which means suspending/banning "under-aged" people to stop them from seeing unsuitable videos is pointless. Plus most unsuitable videos are only accessible by those with an account which is over 18.

So why ban/suspend "under-aged" YouTubers? To stop them from uploading crap? Isn't that a sweeping generalisation?

And one /v/tard is accusing YouTube to have changed since it had been bought by Google. Industrialised with no community is a phrase (paraphrased by some) that I've heard thrown around... and you know what? I kinda sorta agree.

EDIT: Apparently Galipoka was apart of this YoungTuber Club thing. And some other YoungTubers got suspended too. Here's a video explaining what exactly happened.
